The Metro pattern is an easy fit woven pants or shorts for girls, with a soft frill on top of the waistband and tapered legs. The pattern is suitable for every season as it works well sewn in lightweight and cool fabrics for hot weather, or in warmer drapy fabrics for the cold weather.
The design features:
- elastic waist;
- slightly tapered legs;
- medium rise;
- pants or shorts options;
- side seam pockets;
- self-fabric waist tie;
- only 4 pattern pieces and easy construction.
The Metro pattern is part of the Streetstyle collection from Project Run and Play, and works beautifully paired with the other patterns of the collection as a capsule wardrobe.
RECOMMENDED FABRICS:
Woven lightweight or mediumweight fabrics with drape, such as cotton lawn, linen, rayon, tencel twill, chambray, seersucker, lightweight wool, lightweight denim, babycord. See the last photo for fabric requirements.
SIZING:
Pattern comes in sizes 12 months to 14 years, separated by color and line style.
