There's a new sewing pattern in the store! It's the Manuel Swim Shorts, a classic swim shorts design for boys, featuring an elasticated and corded waistband, above the knee length and lining.
Estes calções surgiram depois de eu procurar um molde deste género para fazer para o meu filho e não encontrar. São os calções de banho perfeitos para ele, e são tão rápidos de fazer, que apetece fazer vários todos diferentes.
I designed this pattern after searching for a swim shorts pattern similar to this design to make for my son, and not finding what I wanted. There shorts fit him perfectly, and they're such a quick sew, that I feel like sewing up a bunch of different ones.
Se pensa que aplicar o forro nos calções de banho é complicado, com as instruções detalhadas do molde vai conseguir fazê-lo com facilidade! E quer saber o melhor em relação ao forro? Tanto dá para fazer com forro de rede como com forro de mousse, aquele que se usa nos fatos de banho de senhora. Os meninos mais pequenos preferem este, porque é mais macio na pele.
This shorts pattern includes lining, and detailed easy to follow instructions on how to sew it! And the lining can be made in two different fabrics: fishnet lining, like you see on rtw swim shorts, or swimsuit lining, like the one used for women's swimsuits. Little boys prefer this one because it's more soft on their skin.
Este é um molde de dificuldade fácil, adequado a principiantes, onde se ensina a criar uma cintura com elástico, coser ponto de reforço e fazer casas de botão (para passar o cordão)
This is a beginner level sewing pattern, where you'll be able to learn how to create an elasticated waistband, sew buttonholes and understitch.
O molde vem com instruções detalhadas e claras de todos os passos, com fotografias a cores, tabelas de medidas, sugestão de tecidos e plano de corte. Ou seja, traz tudo o que é preciso para fazer os calções de banho do seu rapaz!
Just like all other Suco by Susana patterns, this sewing pattern includes detailed instructions with step-by-step full colour photographs, measurement guides, fabrics recommendations and a cutting guide. It has everything that you need to start sewing your boy's swim shorts!
O molde é em versão digital, e está disponível em português e inglês, vem nos tamanhos de 3 anos a 14 anos, ou seja dos 98cm aos 170cm, separados por cor e tipo de linha, e já tem valores de costura incluídos. O ficheiro de formato A4 contém o molde em Adobe Acrobat "Layers", que permite imprimir somente o tamanho de que necessita. Mas se não tiver impressora, ou se não lhe apetecer imprimir e colar todas as folhas, também vem um ficheiro A0 para ser impresso numa loja de fotocópias.
This is a digital sewing pattern, available in both Portuguese and English, and comes in sizes 3 years through 14 years, separated by colour and line style. The A4 file features Adobe Acrobat "Layers", so that you can print just the size that you need. And if you don't feel like doing all the cutting and taping, there's also an A0 format file, that you can have printed at a copy shop.

All my patterns are tested before they are released, by a group of testers that help me check that everything is correct with the pattern, that it fits correctly on the body, and who help me perfect it.
