The Laura is a regular to slim fit jeans design woven pants or shorts for girls, with just enough ease to move freely. They sit on the preferred waist (below the natural waist) and include an optional ruffle for the top of the pockets. The pattern is suitable for every season, to wear to school or play in.
The design features:
- slightly tapered legs;
- medium height body rise;
- pants or shorts length;
- optional ruffles for the pockets;
- inset front pockets with coin pocket;
- yoke and patch pockets in the back with 6 different topstitch designs;
- zip fly;
- adjustable waistband;
- topstitched waistband with belt loops.
The pattern instructions show how to sew jeans topstitching, french seams, and flat felled seams.

RECOMMENDED FABRICS:
Woven medium or heavyweight denim, with or without stretch, and also looks great in fine wale corduroy and cotton twill. See the last photo for fabric requirements.

Pattern comes in sizes 3 through 14 years, separated by color and line style.
